Order your bootmod3 license plus a Wi-Fi adapter or ENET cable if you need one.

Connect to the OBD-II port and open the bootmod3 app or desktop software.

Flash your off-the-shelf map. A typical OBD flash takes a few minutes.

Drive and change maps or return to stock whenever you want.

Before you buy
Adapter or cable required. bootmod3 connects through the bootmod3 BM3 Wireless V3 adapter or an ENET cable. Both are sold separately.
One license per vehicle. Your license is tied to one VIN. The original buyer can transfer it once after the car is returned to stock and the DME is re-locked.
Newer software needs an unlock. 2019 and newer cars on November 2019 or later software need an OBD unlock before flashing works. We offer an in-house DME unlock. Message us your VIN before ordering.
Check your engine code. bootmod3 also publishes a separate N63T2 tune for 2016 to 2019 G11/G12 750i and 2017 to 2019 G30/G31 M550i cars. If you are unsure whether your car is a T2 or a T3, send us your VIN.

Do I need an unlock?
2019 and newer cars on November 2019 or later software do. We offer an in-house DME unlock.
Is it the N63T2 or N63T3 for my car?
Check your engine code. The N63T2 has its own tune for some 2016 to 2019 cars, so send us your VIN if you are not sure.
Why are the torque gains smaller than the horsepower gains?
bootmod3's published figures show horsepower gains larger than torque gains on this platform, for example +23% HP and +12% TQ on Stage 1 with 93 octane.
