Cloud tuning platform
Use bootmod3 from the phone app or from a Windows or Mac computer. Maps and datalogs are stored in the cloud, and a downloaded map can be flashed without an internet connection. Your license includes one off-the-shelf map plus any map marked FREE.

Transmission and drivability
The ZF8HP45 transmission flash is included for all 8-speed automatic cars. Options include rev matching in Eco, Sport and Sport+ and with DSC off, ignition coil adjustments and custom TMAP settings.

Tuning options
Adjustable exhaust burble, exhaust flap control in sport mode, top speed limiter removal, boost-by-gear reduction, custom throttle mapping, high-pressure fuel pump settings, E85 and race gas maps, and maps for upgraded turbos.

Order your bootmod3 license plus a Wi-Fi adapter or ENET cable if you need one.

Connect to the OBD-II port and open the bootmod3 app or desktop software.

Flash your off-the-shelf map. A typical OBD flash takes a few minutes.

Drive and change maps or return to stock whenever you want.

Before you buy
Adapter or cable required. bootmod3 connects through the bootmod3 BM3 Wireless V3 adapter or an ENET cable. Both are sold separately.
One license per vehicle. Your license is tied to one VIN. The original buyer can transfer it once after the car is returned to stock and the DME is re-locked.

Is my N55 a PWG or EWG?
bootmod3 publishes separate maps and figures for each wastegate type. Send us your VIN and we will tell you which applies before you order.
Does my automatic get a transmission tune?
Yes. The ZF8HP45 transmission flash is included for all 8-speed automatic cars.
Do I need other modifications?
Stage 1 maps run on stock hardware. Stage 2 and Stage 2+ maps are written for upgraded parts, so ask us about your setup first.
Can I go back to stock?
Yes. bootmod3 can flash the stock map and re-lock the DME.
